Welcome to Bali Hai Noosa’s first blog and new website.

Christmas and the New Year are approaching fast; we wish all our readers a Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year. We hope you will be able to take some time out in the New Year to visit us here in sunny Noosa.

Bali Hai is located on Edgar Bennett Ave, one street back from Noosa drive and situated above the Reef Hotel and the The Rise. The views from our penthouses are no doubt the best in Noosa, unobstructed from Laguna Bay, all the way up Noosa River, past Noosaville, Tewantin, the Marina and out to the Hinterland Mountains beyond.  All of the apartment are large (120sqm) with front facing balcony that incorporate views out to the mountains. The Penthouses are (200sqm) with unobstructed views forever.
We are centrally located between Hastings Street and Noosa Junction. At Bali Hai Noosa we enjoy having more than 25 restaurants, bars and fast food eateries within 1 km.  Here are a few of our favourites and a few tips.

Noosa Surf Club.  Winner Best Surf Club Australia 2014, located in Hastings Street. Eat, drink, pokies and TAB. Good pub style food and fantastic views over Laguna Bay and Main Beach. Family friendly. They also have karaoke and live music on a regular basis.  Tip: Become a member for $20 and you receive 20% discount at the bar and get to go into any of the members only draws and Wednesday night raffles.

Halse Lodge. Winner Best Backpackers Australia 2014. Follow the stairs from the end of our street and turn right at the bottom (210 steps). Casual laid back atmosphere with cheap eats and drinks, kid friendly. Tip: They have a great Irish band 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7.00pm. More like a jam session of local musicians but you can’t stop your feet from tapping.

Reef Hotel and Flanigans Irsh pub. Located across the road on the next corner. Bistro meals, pokies and Keno. Downstairs is Flanigans, lovely decor, turns into a nightclub after 9.00pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

Bitro C – great restaurant on Main Beach boardwalk. Sit inside or on the beach front. Happy Hour 3.00 till 5.00 daily except school holidays with $5 drinks and a variety of tapas. Their dinner menu is great.

Miss Moneypennys – on Hastings Street, become a member to get discounts on meals and beverages. Won Best Cocktail Bar in 2014.

Noosa Junction has a variety of restaurants from takeaways such as KFC and Taco Bill’s through to authentic Italian, Thai, Indian, Korean and Japanese restaurants.
Shades Wine Bar located on Sunshine Beach Rd Noosa Junction has live music Wednesday and Saturday, a large variety of wines and also a constantly changing Tapas and Pizza menu.

Until next time ... just of taste of more to come.
